e6 designed and implemented a MuleSoft-based integration accelerator for the OSDM (Open Sales and Distribution Model) standard — enabling an open, modern, and standardized ticketing and passenger information ecosystem that efficiently serves multiple sales channels and distribution partners.
The MuleSoft OSDM Accelerator enables rail operators and mobility providers to digitize ticket sales and passenger information, provide a unified interface for internal and external systems, scale modularly as new channels and partners are onboarded, and fully comply with the international OSDM standard.
AI agents enhance OSDM flows with demand forecasting, dynamic pricing optimization, and intelligent passenger routing — turning standardized rail APIs into a competitive advantage.
Built on MuleSoft's API-led connectivity approach, the accelerator provides pre-built assets across three layers running on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform:
The accelerator supports all major distribution touchpoints: mobile applications, internet ticketing portals, self-service kiosks, and ticket office frontends. Through the API Gateway and Developer Portal, external partners — ticket distributors, partner railways, and MaaS platforms — can connect via standardized interfaces.

Beyond the standard OSDM endpoints, e6 developed custom extensions harmonized with the OSDM data model to support business processes — including identity management (s-identity), travel information services (s-travel-information), and payment integration (s-payment). These components connect to backend enterprise systems such as travel information systems, payment platforms, and SAP ERP.
The MuleSoft OSDM Accelerator was created to bridge the gap between the OSDM specification and real-world railway distribution systems. Every component — from API specs to implementation templates — is customizable and built with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, DataWeave transformations, and native connectors. This ensures transparency, easy extension, and rapid deployment for rail operators adopting the OSDM standard.
